The villa sleeps up to a maximum of 4 adults & two children in 2 double/twin bedrooms and a further bedroom with bunk beds. There is a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and sitting room and an outside patio with tables, chairs, umbrella and barbeque. Sheets, blankets & towels are provided (you will need to bring your own beach towels), there is a hairdryer, radio/tape player with a small selection of tapes, books, games and cards. There is a security safe box (key available at reception) and it is possible to have the telephone/fax connected if required.
Smoking is not allowed in the Villa.
The Villa in Lanzarote's Facilities
A short walk through the tropical garden takes you to a large heated swimming pool and a smaller pool which is ideal for children. The setting is peaceful and for much of the time you hardly see a soul. There are 2 tennis course available for a nominal charge (key available from Reception) and racquets and balls can be hired.
Reception is open daily until midnight and it is possible to purchase items such as rolls, cereals, milk, butter etc. there.
In and Around the Villa
There are supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, doctors etc within walking distanct along with a wide choice of excellent restaurants.
If you do not wish to hire a car you can hire bicycles in the Village.
You can swim off the beaches at Playa Blanca or take a short drive to Papagayo Beaches, Majeres being a very lovely beach where you can park close to the sea and also walk along to secluded coves.
El Graciosa - island for the day. It takes just over 1 hr to drive to Orzola from where the morning ferry to Graciosa leaves at 10.00am and the last return ferry in the winter months is 4.00pm and in the summer 6.00pm. It is also possible to stay overnight.
Timamfaya fire mountains and camel rides nearby ( for children) and Jameos del Agua caves in the North of the island are worth visiting.
There is also a car/passenger ferry from the port in Playa Blanc which goes hourly to the nearby island of Fuertoventura (last ferry 8.00pm) and there also separate boat trips to the northern beaches of Fuertoventura.
35a Casas Del SolVilla is..
Villa 35a Casas Del Sol is approximately 30minutes drive from the airport and although you do not need to have a car whilst staying the Villa it is recommended that you do in order to access the lovely beaches and explore the island. There are special prices for guests and residents (visit our website).
