Villa Tuzlabeli sits on a hillside approx 500m above sea level, with mountains around it and views over the plain to the mountains beyond .The cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months.
On the ground floor you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with double doors leading out onto a spacious balcony. There is also a dining room seating 10,bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubical, double bedroom
and open plan lounge leading out onto the covered terrace and pool.
Upstairs there is a Family shower room, two twin rooms and two double rooms one of which has a king-size bed and en-suite showeroom, all but one of the bedrooms have balconies. There is also another seating area with double doors leading to a further balcony giving you the chance to enjoy some wonderful views.
There is also a small self-contained annex that sleeps 2 in single beds + 1 on sofa bed beneath the house, which may be made available if required at an extra cost.(please note that the annex would not be occupied by anyone else whilst you are renting the villa as it is not available to rent separately).
The Villa in Turkey's Facilities
The pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers, parasols etc. Wrought iron steps lead down a lower patio area complete with built in BBQ. There is a futher patio area on the other side of the house.
Please note that to make your holiday as safe as possible a gated wrought iron railing has been put in place around the covered section of the terrace.
The spacious kitchen balcony has seating to enjoy breakfast outside
There is a selection of games, books, CDs, and DVDs.
We can also provide you with a travel cot suitable from birth, high chair and all terrain push chair.
In and Around the Villa
Just a short walk from the villa is the traditional village of Uzumlu where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays.
The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an profusion of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.
If you prefer more choice then Fethiye is just twenty minutes drive away. Here you
will find bustling shops, a harbour, museum, and the large Tuesday market.
The nearest beach to Uzumlu is at Calis. It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort, with a seemingly endless beach, the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles. A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade. Water taxis run reguarly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour. On a Sunday you would be able vist the Calis market
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting.

The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away.
We recommend you hire a car, but the local public transport into Fethiye is fairly cheap and regular.
